История космонавтики насчитывает к нынешнему моменту уже 60 лет, и от простейшего Спутника-1 мы продвинулись до МКС и многоразовых ракет-носителей. Объекты периода раннего освоения космоса уже не несут технологической ценности, но при этом обладают колоссальным историческим значением. Да и в денежном эквиваленте стоят весьма немало.

В Нью-Йорке 20 июля на аукцион Sotheby’s выставлен ряд уникальных космических предметов: от модели первого спутника СССР — до «лунной сумки» Нила Армстронга.

Sotheby’s – один из старейших аукционных домов мира, основанный в Британии в 1744 году. Штаб-квартира компании располагается в Нью-Йорке, а по общей прибыли «Сотбис» обгоняет все прочие аукционные дома планеты.

Запланированные торги приурочены к 48-й годовщине высадки Нила Армстронга на Луну. Главный лот — прорезиненная нейлоновая сумка американского астронавта, в которую тот собирал лунный грунт. Экспертиза показала, что на стенках сумки еще сохраняются мельчайшие частицы лунной пыли. Специалисты из Sotheby’s оценивают стоимость сумки Армстронга примерно в 2-4 миллиона долларов.

Будет на что посмотреть и поклонникам советской космонавтики. Так, на аукцион планируется выставить документ невероятной исторической ценности — послание Центрального аэроклуба имени Чкалова на английском языке, которое фиксирует полет Юрия Гагарина в космос. К документу прилагается фото Юрия Алексеевича в скафандре. Этот документ предполагалось передать в Международную авиационную федерацию, а его оцениваемая стоимость – от 50 до 80 тысяч долларов.

Представитель аукционного дома Мидори Танака пояснил, что, помимо письма в федерацию, на торгах будут еще 9 предметов советской космонавтики. Среди них: модели первого спутника, который был запущен в космос 4 октября 1957, жидкостного ракетного двигателя V-571, модель корабля «Восток-1», станции «Луна-9» и ракеты-носителя «Союз».

Помимо моделей, будут проданы картины Алексея Леонова и Андрея Соколова, а также одни из первых снимков небесных тел — фотографии Луны 1855 и 1863 годов.
